A writing assignment paid off for a Duncan Falls second grader. Marcus Summerville was given an assignment by his second grade teacher Nikole Bunting to write a paper on "Why He Likes To Live In Muskingum County." Marcus's letter stated he liked it here because he loved Conn's potato chips, Rittberger pork sandwiches, and he loved to fish. His letter was sent to the Conn's and Rittberger companies by his mother and his teacher. The company's spokesmen were very overwhelmed by the young boy's letter. So they threw a party in the boys honor at his school. The menu consisted of Conn's potato chips and Rittberger pork sandwiches. The companies surprised the youngster with a new bike and helmet.
