It's day two of a trial for a woman accused of fatally shooting her friend with a sawed off shotgun last September. It started on Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas court. Muskingum county prosecutor Mike Haddox says 35-year-old Dawn Martin of Newark faces one count of involuntary manslaughter with a gun specification and one count of posession of dangerous ordinance. She is accused of shooting her live-in boyfriend, 63-year-old James Breneman, after a domestic dispute. Martin has pleaded not guilty to the charges. She's been in jail on 200-thousand dollars bond since the incident. The trial is expected to last for about a week. Martin could face 14 years in prison if convicted.
