A second county has indicted a former cemetery operator on charges that he sold burial plots and mausoleum spaces that weren't availble. A Jackson county grand jury has issued more than 60 counts against Ron and Diane Bowman and a former business associate, Tony Mcdaniel of Chillicothe. Last month, Perry county issued a 25 count indictment against Ron Bowman. The Bowmans owned Greenlawn Memory Gardens located in two Ohio counties. Customers lodged 65 complaints with state officials from 1994 to 2000, saying they did not receive burial services they paid for. The Bowmans live in Virginia. Their Columbus-based attorney, William Mattes, has said that they inherited the problems from previous owners.
