A new downtown association manager was introduced by the County Commissioner's office today. Dana Matz has a new job that will help local businesses survive and bring new growth to the downtown Zanesville area. Matz will be working for the Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce and try to beautify the present downtown area. Matz has already began making strides in his new career. He was pleased to announce that Zak's Restaurant has reopened and will start serving full-service meals tonight. Matz has been a life-long resident of Zanesville and has been involved in numerous civic activities such as the Gus Macker tournament and the Stars and Stripes on the River.
