A boil advisory continues this morning (wednesday) in Morgan county. Residents of McConnelsville and customers of the Morgan-Meigsville rural water system are advised to boil their drinking water. The boil alert was issued on Tuesday after a water main break in the village of McConnelsville. It remains in effect until further notice.
There is also a boil advisory in Cambridge. The cause of the advisory is also a water main break which occured early Monday morning on Byesville road. The advisory includes residents on Byesville road, Barbara Lane, Beverly, and all customers in those areas without water service on Monday. Water samples are being tested. One other note, residents in Cumberland could experience interruped water service or stopped service this week.
