After stealing more than 33-thousand dollars in jewlery from the Lazarus department store in the Colony Square Mall, a Columbus man is going to prison. 21-year-old Albert Watson The Third was in Muskingum county common pleas court on Monday. He pleaded guilty to one count of robbery and one count of theft. In July of last year, Watson, along with co-defendent, Steven Michael Wilson, asked a store clerk to open a jewelry case so they could look at some of the pieces, when the clerk opened the case, the two stole jewelry and maced the clerk. Judge Mark Fleegle sentenced Watson to four years on the robbery charge and 11 months on the theft charge. Watson is also serving time for similar crimes in both Erie and Fairfield counties.
