Leaks and age are the main reasons the Muskingum County Jail needs a new roof. If all goes according to plan, that new roof could be constructed by snowfall. Three bidders showed interest inthe job, but only two submitted bids. Both hovered between $80,000 and $90,000. Saup-Hartley won out with an $84,456 bid. No special options or alternates were included in the final batch of bids.
