It's been a long year for some local military police officers doing their part to fight terrorism. The 447th Military Police Unit have come home from a year's stay in Missouri. Tears, laughs, hugs and lots of smiles filled the Reserve Building on Moxahala Avenue Friday afternoon for the Homecoming Ceremony of the Unit. The familieies of the soldiers, the comminity and city officials showed up to honor the local heroes and thank them for a job well done defending our country. While on duty the Unit worked on Force Protection and Anti-Terrorism Missions.
