They offer help to those in need, and today they were dishing up rib sandwiches galore to keep their organization's philanthropic deeds going strong. On the menu for the 12th annual United Way benefit luncheon were almost a thousand rib sandwiches, chips, cookies and drinks. All for four dollars and all possible thanks to generous donations from area businesses. Today’s event was held at the First Federal Savings Bank in downtown Zanesville. Keely Warden, the Executive Director for the United Way says the benefit luncheon drew in about four thousand dollars for the non-profit agency.
