A Morgan county man accused of shooting his neighbor in the face pleads not guilty by reason of insanity. 59-year-old Jack Church of McConnelsville entered that plea in Morgan county common pleas court to one count of attempted murder and one count of menacing by stalking. He's charged in the shooting of 43-year-old Kristy Hooper, also of McConnelsville, on September 16th. The judge in the case ordered Church to undergo a psychological evaluation and continued Church's bond at a half-million dollars.
