Slick conditions weren't to blame for one of today's worst automobile accidents. Less than an hour after a white minivan was hit on Maple Avenue in Zanesville, a cherry colored Chevy blazed through a red light on Main and Seventh streets, causing the minivan to crash into the driver's side door of the Chevy, according to police. Witnesses say they heard a semi shifting gears, but it was too late and the semi careened into the minivan at the intersection. Neither the truck driver or the people in the minivan were injured, but the female in the Chevrolet was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. Her condition is unknown at this hour. Names have not been released.
