The second armed robbery in less than 24-hours strikes the city of Zanesville. Yesterday it was the Century National Bank on Maysville Avenue, today it's a local gas station. Police say around 2:45a.m. a man entered the Starfire Gas Station at 727 Pershing Road. They say he was armed with a handgun and demanded fast cash. The suspect is being described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, around 145lbs. He was wearing a white t-shirt and white painter pants. Police say the lone suspect fled on foot and is still on the loose tonight.
