Thousands of people flocked to Roscoe Village for its popular Apple Butter Stirinn Festival. Tastebuds were tempted for that sweet spread of apple butter as the 33rd festival was underway. Nearly one hundred vendors lined the historic district and shoppers had everything from anything apple to crafts and fun for the kids. The auction was also a huge success. Event organizer, Mary Ellen Given says pies sold for as much as $50.00 each.
