It's always better to give than to receive...and Saturday that was the mission of many organizations across the United States. "Make A Difference Day" is the largest national day of helping others. In its 12th year, local efforts are being taken by promoting volunteerism and community service. Employees from Dollar General Distribution Center pitched in to make a difference by beautifying the outside of Christ's Table in downtown Zanesville. About 35 volunteers started painting early this morning, using supplies donated by Ray Thomas Lumber and Modern Glass.
