Christmas is coming a little early for the Maysville Local School District as the new middle and high school building is finally complete. Saturday teachers and staff members spent the day unpacking boxes and preparing rooms for the building's opening on Tuesday. The 177,000 square foot building took nearly half a decade to complete. According to Steve German, Principal of Maysville High School, the project started almost four years ago. To show off their new surroundings, the School District also invited the communtiy to come and view the finished building. The new building will house around 12,000 students grade six through twelve.
