Area law enforcement officers say reports of two explosions at Denison university campus in Granville last night apparently were plastic bottles put under pressure by dry ice placed inside them. Police say two similar unexploded devices were found by officers sent to the campus. A hazardous materials team neutralized the bottles and they were removed from the area for examination. Police say the bottles blew up on the east quad of the campus. A female student suffered a minor head injury when hit by a piece of debris and was treated by paramedics. Two Denison students have been identified by police as suspects, but no arrests have been made. Police say evidence will be presented to the prosecutor’s office and the two may be charged with inducing panic and or unlawful possession of a dangerous ordinance.
