The family of a murdered Zanesville man has filed a multi-million dollar civil lawsuit in United States District Court in Columbus. Ritheen Hatton, who is the administrator of the estate of Darius Ford Senior, is suing Stacey Coffee of Ocala, Florida and John Doe, address unknown, in the death of Ford. In the suit, Hatton is accusing Coffee and Doe of the wrongful death, personal injuries and other loses resulting from either or both defendants shooting and killing Ford on July 11th 2001. Ford died of multiple gunshot wounds, one to the head and two to the back. In the lawsuit the Ford estate is asking for 5.5 million dollars.
