It turns out that a woman who died on November 25, 2002; didn't die from food poisoning. Health officials performed an autopsy after 50-year old Pamela Moyer was found dead in her home on Pine Street. Moyer, along with her 18-year old son, became ill after eating a traditional Thanksgiving meal that's why officials suspected food poisoning, but Mike Kirsch the Environmental Health Director of Muskingum County says that the report indicated that she died of a irregular heart beat, coupled with an infection prior to her death. Kirsch also says that it is very rare that anyone would die from food poisoning, but since Moyer felt sick after eating-he says it was necessary to perform the autopsy.
