Golden Buckeye card holders are now able to start seeing discounts on prescription drugs. More than 90-percent of Ohio's pharmacies are participating in the plan that was passed last year by the Ohio General Assembly and then signed into law by Govenor Taft. The program will be administered by Member-Health and all Ohioans can participate regardless of income. The program serves as a valuable benefit for an estimated 600,000 people who do not have insurance or other assistance in buying prescription drugs. The cards can also be used by those whose prescritpion benefits have expired or for drugs that cost less than their co=pay.
