Zanesville Kidnapping Suspect Faces 20 Years In Jail

A man accused of kidnapping a local cab driver could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted. 22-year-old Matthew Rupe of Bidwell entered not guilty pleas Wednesday to one count of aggravated robbery and two counts of abduction. On New Year’s Eve, Rupe was arrested after he allegedly kidnapped the cab driver and another passenger. He is being held on 100-thousand dollars bond.
