It looks like Conn’s Potato Chips will remain 60 miles fresher. The Zanesville based company wants to buy the old Hartman Truck Center building on the National Road and relocate their factory. Tuesday night their request had to meet approval of the Falls Township trustees. During a public meeting trustee Dean Baughman says that in fact it happened. Now Baughman says its up to the city of Zanesville to sign off on the deal. If the project is approved Conn’s officials say they will move ahead with plans to purchase the property. The facility will bring in around 10 new jobs to the area. The Lancaster plant will be closing as a result of the Muskingum county project.
