Ohio lawmakers are once again trying to lower the legal limit for drunken driving. Legislation introduced into the house and senate today sets the limit at 0.08%. Current law defines the standard for drunken driving at 0.10% blood alcohol content. Lawmakers tried unsuccessfully to pass a similar bill last year. Republican lawmakers say lowering the limit is necessary to avoid losing $120 million in federal highway funds over the next four years.
