The weather is going from bad to worse in southeastern Ohio. At 3:00 p.m. Muskingum county sheriff Bob Stephenson says a level 3 snow emergency will be in effect. That means that all roads are closed in Muskingum County to non-emergency personnel. No one should be out during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Travelers on roads may subject themselves to arrest.
Earlier today the Perry,Morgan,Noble,Coshocton and Guernsey county sheriff’s offices also issued a level 3 snow emergency in their counties. Licking county remains under a level 2 snow emergency. That means roads are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who feel it necessary to drive should be on the roads.
