Harrison, Roseville, Newton, and Crooksville fire departments were dispatched to a fire at 5490 Stovertown Road yesterday. When firefighters arrived a thick cloud of smoke was coming from the rear of the house, which hampered a lot of their efforts, as a result most of the home’s interior sustained moderate fire damage. It took firefighters around 45-minutes to put out the fire and fortunately, no one was home. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
