When a big snow storm hits, things can come to a standstill. But fire fighters need to be prepared for anything. Acting Zanesville Fire Chief Dave Lacy says his men make plans in advance just for cases like this most recent storm. Lacy says the department has been lucky because the runs were at a minimum sunday evening, which is rare in such conditions. Lacy says the dangerous roads are not what worry him. He is more concerned with heating devices. He warns residents to make sure that the snow is cleared from exhaust ports on heating units in your home to prevent people from having a carbon monoxide problem.
