The big storm means big business for local grocery stores. A mad rush of customers hit the doors of supermarkets this weekend when all the snow started falling. Rich Daugherty, manager of Riesbeck's Pick-N-Save, says with such a huge storm he's surprised that some items remained on the shelves. Sidewalk salt and shovels are still available at the store. Despite the high amount of winter goods, a low inventory of one product could mean goodbye to several dinner selections. Bread supplies dwindled a bit today, mostly because bread companies don't want their drivers on the roads in these conditions.
