A Guernsey County family now resides in a home with a view thanks to an Ohio program. This afternoon the Snodgrass Family and State Representative Nancy Hollister dedicated a home on Larrick Ridge Road located in the town of Center. The home was built under the "House the Assembly Built" program, a plan instituted by former Speaker of the House Joann Davidson and continued under current Speaker Larry Householder. The program collects funds to build affordable homes for low-income families. The Ohio General Assembly partners with Habitat for Humanity International to construct the homes. The goal of the "House the Assembly Built" program is to build a Habitat home in each of Ohio's 99 legislative districts.
