A Muskingum county family is homeless today after an early morning fire. It happened at 6740 Swing-a-long Lane in Nashport. Firefighters were called to the home of Kim Bice just before five this morning. Bice and her four children were able to escape unharmed. No word on the cause of the fire. The Muskingum Valley Red Cross responded to the scene and is helping the family with food and clothing. Red Cross officials say the family will be staying with relatives.
