An area man who caused nearly 100-thousand dollars in damage to a Licking County school in February has been ordered to spend ten days in jail and write a letter of apology to the school board. 41-year-old Todd Ross told a judge that he has a drug and alcohol problem. Ross could have gone to prison for more than three years for breaking 131 windows at Granville Intermediate School. The judge has ordered him to pay the district nearly 100-thousand dollars and perform 100 hours of community service. In the early morning hours of February 15th, Ross’s truck got stuck in snow and mud near the school, and when he couldn’t get inside to keep warm, he used a baseball bat to break the windows.
