A man trying to keep warm is now police custody for criminal trespassing. Around 8:00 Monday evening the South Zanesville Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at the Old Mosaic Building in the Brighton area. When fire crews arrived at the scene they found wooden pallets on fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and Sheriff’s deputies arrested one individual. According to the Sheriff’s Department, a man was living in the building at the time of the fire. He is charged with criminal trespassing.
