According to the Fairfield Post of the State Highway Patrol, a two-car accident Friday night sent three to the hospital. The accident happened shortly before 9:00 at the intersection of State Route 204 and Lake Road just east of Millersport. 25-year-old Joshua Hicks of Logan was driving northbound on Lake Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a second car traveling eastbound on 204. 56-year-old Carol Graves of Somerset drove that car. According to State Highway Patrol reports, Graves’ passenger, 48-year-old Clarence Graves had to be removed from the car by mechanical means. He was transported to Grant Medical Center by Med-flight. Hicks, who was ejected from his car upon collision, was also Med-flighted to Grant. Carol Graves was taken by EMS. As of Saturday night, the extent of their injuries is not known, however both men are reportedly in critical condition. The Patrol says the crash remains under investigation. No citations have been issued.
