Quaker City Gets Federal Funding

Congressman Bob Ney says an area fire department is getting a federal grant. Ney says the Quaker City Fire Department in Guernsey County will receive just over 43-thousand dollars as part of a nationwide assistance to firefighters grant program. The funds can be used to increase the effectiveness of firefighter operations, fund firefighters health and safety programs, acquire equipment and made modifications to the fire station.
