Attempted Rape Investigated In Zanesville

The Zanesville police department is investigating an attempted rape. A local woman was attacked in a parking lot, but managed to escape. According to detective Ric Roush, an employee with Community Ambulance Service was attacked in the parking of work on Linden Avenue. The attack happened just before 2 a.m. Saturday. The victim was getting out of her car when she was attacked from behind. Roush sys the woman was able to get away. The suspect is described as a white male with a slim build. He reportedly has dark hair and is balding on the top. The man was wearing a black shirt and has many tattoos on his arms and hands.
