It’s four years behind bars for a Nashport man who faced a long list of charges. 19-year-old David Coon received his sentence Wednesday. In February, Coon was arrested in Licking County. Upon his arrest, prosecutors say he admitted to burglaries in the Newark area and several in Muskingum County. Coon was accused of breaking into a Nashport home on Winterwood Dr. and stealing 22 firearms, checks, prescription drugs and money. He was also accused of breaking into the Military Drive Thru, the Pondo Bar, Rex’s Go Kleen Car Wash and an attempted break-in at JJ’s Drive Thru.
