Thousands of people are without power after the second round of severe storms ripped across the state Thursday.
In our area just over 6000 American Electric Power customers in Newark are without service…in Zanesville 2700 people lost power…in McConnelsville its just over 2200 and in Crooksville just over 300 customers are without service.
In other weather releated news…Lima police says there are unconfirmed reports of four tornado touchdowns…and lots of damage…lighting injured nine people in Logan and a firefighter drowned in floodwaters in northeast Ohio.
