This month I had the pleasure of meeting Ian...
Ian may seem like a quiet 15-year-old, but once you get to know him, you'll find he's one outgoing kid.
He enjoys acting.
“Ever since I was five I danced and acted,” said Ian. “I was on stage for awhile.”
And more than his love for acting is his love for the outdoors.
“It makes me feel a little wide and open. I like to observe nature basically interact with nature.”
Andrea Minnich, Ian's social work explained Ian's love for the outdoors. “He plans to go to college and become a naturalist. He's really into fishing and he'd like to learn how to hunt.”
And when it comes to finding a family Ian has one request.
“I'm looking for a family that treats others they way they would treat me.”
“He doesn't care if he has brothers or sisters,” Minnich went on to say, “He just wants to be a part of a family that's going to be there for him.”
