Every month here at WHIZ we introduce you to a child in need of a loving family.
This month I would like to introduce you to Dartayan.
Dartayan is a spunky fun loving 7th grader who is always in constant motion.
He enjoys sports like football and basketball.
"I like the browns and in basketball the Cavaleiers. Because they rock, said Dartayan."
He also likes to draw and study math and science, hoping to one day help other children.
"I want to be a pediatrician. I like helping little kids."
Permanency Planning Supervisor, Cary Sanders said,"When he loves somebody he loves them hard. He's really passionate, he's very kind and very polite and when he loves someone he's very committed and protective of them."
At almost 11-years-old, Dartayan has lived in many different environments from the country to the inner city, and now he doesn't care where he lives, as long as he has a family to love him.
"I want someone to love and take care of me."
