The Meadowbrook high school teacher accused of the sexual assault of a student appeared in court today.

27-year-old William “Bill” Booze of Cambridge is charged with two counts of sexual battery.

The victim is only identified as a 14-year-old girl.

In Cambridge Municipal Court Booze’s bond was set at 15,000 dollars and a preliminary hearing was set for May 19th.

The suspect is on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the case. Meanwhile, another case of a teacher and student remains under investigation.

A former substitute teacher allegedly sent nude pictures of himself to a juvenile student. His name has not been released pending the filing of formal charges.
