It was a competition that brought out people of all ages, male and female.
The M-V-P Horse Show took place at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds. Those competing came from all around Ohio and the riders competed for prizes and money.
Rachel Willison of Zanesville is one of the competitors. "It is very competitive, it's surprising, a lot of people don't think so. People come from all around. They mostly come for money and stuff, because we have of money going on today and the 4-h'ers do points and whoever at the year has the highest amount of points gets x-amount of prizes and they're really nice. "
Show organizers say they have competitions just about every week at the fairgrounds and it gives riders a chance to showcase their talents and win. "Everybody's always offered ribbons or money for prizes. For the little kids we have special classes for 8 and under adn they always get prizes. "said Connie VanSickle who helped put the show on.
Show organizers went on to say they were happy with the turnout and planning for more shows throughout the rest of the year.
