Wednesday we introduce you to January's Child in Need of Adoption. I have the story of Ladonna a child always on the move.

Everyone who comes in contact with Ladonna can contest to her helpful spirit.

"Nearly every foster parent, caregiver, and social worker, including myself, has a special place in their heart for Ladonna," said social worker Bonnie Carroll. "She's so giving, compassionate and she has a good good heart."

I got to witness this first hand at the Lind Arena when she took time to give me a few pointers on roller skating.

One day she hopes to use her helpful spirit to enrich the lives of others.

"I'm a funny person," said Ladonna. "I'm always there if you need me. I'm very nice to people."

Carroll added, "Not so unlike other teenagers her age she likes to listen to music at home, play video games and spend time with friends."

And Ladonna would love to share her love of life with a family of her own.

"A family with younger siblings, maybe some older kids in the home. A mom and a dad. People who care and will take care of me."

"She needs a family to believe in her," explained Carroll. "And I believe from the depths of my soul that with the right family she will be successful, she will thrive, there will be far more joys then there will be challenges."
