A two vehicle accident sends two people to the hospital.

It happened just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Brandywine Blvd. and Maple Avenue in Zanesville.

The Zanesville Police Department says an elderly woman drove her car through a red light, causing her to strike and elderly man in a white van.

Both were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. Their injuries are not known at this time.

The accident is still under investigation.
