Wind Causes Power Outages In Muskingum County/UPDATED

*****UPDATE****A-E-P says power has been restored to customers in Muskingum County.  Just under 200 were left without service this morning due to high winds.  In Guernsey County A-E-P says there are still 256 customers without service.  This morning there were over 1600 with power due to high winds.  Cambridge area residents are expected to have service restored by mid-afternoon.

 

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for our area today. Wind gusts could reach 30 to 35 miles per hour or higher. Some people in Muskingum County are waking up in the dark as a result. American Electric Power says 154 customers are without service this morning. There is no word yet when service will be restored.  A-E-P says 1605 customers in Guernsey County are also without service this morning.
