Kiwanis and Key Club members are hitting the streets for their biggest fundraiser of the year.
Zanesville High School Key Club members sold peanuts to passing drivers Friday afternoon, all to raise money for Kiwanis.
"Kiwanis spends all of it's money and effort trying to help the children in the community, the goal of Kiwanis is to change the world one community and one child at a time," says Bruce Lee the secretary for the Zanesville Kiwanis Club.
The cost of a bag of peanuts is donation based and this event raises more money than you might expect.
"Last year we raised about $15,000 in two day and you can see members of Zanesville High School Key Club, we work with them on leadership and they return the favor and help us get the job done," tells Lee.
The Kiwanis and Key Club members will be out Saturday from 8 a.m.- 12 p.m. at Maple and Bell, Underwood and Zane and by Sam's Club.
