High school and college students, would you like a chance at money for higher education?
Well, you're in luck. The Muskingum County Community Foundation has a couple different scholarships up for grabs.
"We currently have two scholarships available," said Director of College Access Programs Heather Sands. "Their deadlines have been extended to November 10. One would be the Oliver Flanagan Scholarship. That is available to sophomores, juniors and seniors. They have to demonstrate some type of financial need."
The Oliver Flanagan Scholarship is a $250 book scholarship.
Sands says a second scholarship is available for those already in college or thinking about graduate school.
"For the second one, we have two $650 scholarships available," she said. "That is the Olaf Hanson Scholarship for any students who are getting their degree in education. It could be a sophomore, junior or senior in undergrad or someone going to graduate school."
Sands says you can download applications for either scholarship on their website. To find out more information about the scholarships or to download an application, <a href=http://www.mccf.org>click here<a>.
