Head On Crash In Perry County Sends 4 To Hospital

Four people remain hospitalized Wednesday , one in critical condition,  after a head-on crash on State Route 13 in Perry County.

According to the Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Aaron Murrey of New Lexington was driving on Jamestown Road around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday  when he went through a stop sign and crashed head on into another vehicle heading west on State Route 13 driven by Tamara Searl of McConnelsville.

Searl and Murrey both had one passenger in their vehicle at the time of the accident.

All 4 were taken by Medflight to O-S-U Medical Center in Columbus.

The Patrol says one person is in critical condition and the other three are in stable condition.

The accident remains under investigation.
