A routine traffic stop leads to a foot chase around 3:30 Friday morning.
Lt. Bill Shaw with the Zanesville Police Department says officers were attempting to pull over a car when the driver took off. The driver and the passenger bailed out of hte car and led police on a foot chase.
Both were caught a short time later. Lt. Shaw says the driver of the vehicle is being charged with driver under the influence, driving under suspension and resisting arrest.
The passenger is charged with obstruction of official business. Police says this incident is still under investigation and more charges could be filed.
