Three people are sent to the hospital after a morning accident near Newark.
The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says an SUV was traveling east on Dutch Lane Road around 7:15 a.m , when it failed to stop at the State Route 661 intersection and struck a van, traveling south on State Route 661.
Trooper Randy Lewis says the SUV crossed State Route 661, rotated off the left side of the road, and then struck a traffic sign.
He says the van hit two utility poles and several trees before rolling onto its left side.
The two people in the van were flown to OSU Medical Center for their injuries, and Lewis says they are in stable condition.
The driver of the van was transported by a squad car to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, where he was treated and released.
The accident remains under investigation.
