It was a great election for the Rambo Memorial Health Center.
It scored a big victory in the polls easily passing a levy on Tuesday. That's something Executive Director Crystal Bebout is happy about.
"We were on pins and needles all night and finally at 9:30 p.m. they gave us the numbers and we were so thrilled that we passed at a higher rate than the past levy," said Bebout. "We had a drop in the 90s, but we are back up to where we were before that."
Bebout says the passing of the levy will allow Rambo to continue extending it's services throughout the county.
"Right now we just expanded to another service that people probably don't know about. It's the influenza a and b testing," she said. "There is a small charge to be tested. They can get tested here. The results can go to their physician or ours can see them."
Bebout says the widespread coverage of both the seasonal and flu pandemics may have raised more awareness about Rambo for this year's election.
