Second H1N1 Death in Licking County

There has been a second H1N1 death in Licking County. The Licking County Health Department confirmed Friday that a 56-year-old Heath man died from the virus.

On October 21st a 53-year-old Newark man also died from H1N1.

Licking County Health Commissioner Joe Ebel says so far the Health Department has administered nearly 6,000 H1N1 vaccines.

They will have another H1N1 vaccination clinic Monday, November 16 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Watkins Middle School in Pataskala.

On Wednesday November 18 they will have a clinic at Johnstown High School in Johnstown, which is also from 3 to 7 p.m.

The clinics are only for children six months to 24 years of age, pregnant women, health care workers, EMS personnel and caregivers to children under the age of six months.
