A 16-year-old male is sent to the hospital after he was hit with a truck while riding his bike.
It happened in the 300 block of Florence Avenue around 3:30 p.m.
Zanesville Police Sergeant Chris Phipps says the teenager was attempting to cross the road and the driver of a truck tried to avoid him but ended up grazing the bike.
The impact caused the bike to fall over and Phipps says the teenager hurt his head. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries.
Phipps says the teenager wasn't wearing a helmet.
